Summer Vocal Intensive

For over ten years, Laurie Antonioli and Theo Bleckmann have directed a week-long Vocal Intensive at the CJC. Singers from all over the world have attended and experienced transformation and artistic growth. This year the Intensive will be a condensed 3-day weekend workshop. An artistic booster of sorts. Open to intermediate to advanced vocalists and teachers. Join CJC vocal chair and Origin Records recording artist Laurie Antonioli and Theo Bleckmann, ECM recording artist and Manhattan School of Music jazz vocal director, to dive into singing and performing for three fun and intense days. Theo and Laurie encourage artistic growth in a supportive and nurturing environment. Please bring several pieces of music to work on. The weekend culminates in a performance, with a world-class piano trio, open to the public!

All genders and ages (teens and adults) are welcome.

Schedule:

Friday and Saturday – 10 am – 6 pm

Sunday – 11 am to 3 pm, performance at 5 pm

Level: Intermediate to Advanced

Tuition: $500

COVID Guidelines: This program is scheduled to take place in person at the California Jazz Conservatory. COVID health and safety guidelines will be aligned with any city, county and state guidelines in place at the time the program is scheduled to take place.

Refund Policy: $100 of program tuition is non-refundable until July 1st. After that date, all tuition is non-refundable.
