In this fun and fast-paced continuation of the concepts explored in Jazz Guitar 1, you’ll dive into more complex harmonic and melodic concepts, scales and chord voicings, with lots of hands-on playing time and personal guidance for everyone. This course is designed for guitarists with some jazz playing experience looking to take their playing to the next level.
Prerequisites: Jazz Guitar 1 or equivalent; knowledge of scale and chord theory and some familiarity with jazz repertoire.

COURSE DESCRIPTION:
COURSE OBJECTIVES:
At the end of this course students should be able to solo/comp over more advanced jazz pieces than covered in Jazz Guitar I and should be developing more mastery of both guitar technique and overall theory.
COURSE PREREQUISITES:
Prerequisites: Jazz Guitar 1 or equivalent, knowledge of scale and chord theory and some familiarity with jazz repertoire.
