Carson Grimes is a Bay Area-based musician from Sacramento CA, and works as Operations Staff for the Jazzschool and the CJC. He has been enrolled in the B.M Jazz Studies program since 2020 for drumset. In the past, he has studied with drummers such as Tim Metz, Carl Allen, Dave Weckl, Kenwood Dennard, and Gerald Cleaver, and has been recognized by associations such as SFJazz, Downbeat Magazine and the California Legislature.
