DMA, University of Southern California (Jazz Studies/Music Teaching and Learning); MM, William Paterson University (Jazz Performance); BM, California Jazz Conservatory (Jazz Studies). Saxophonist, educator, com- poser, and recording artist from the Bay Area. Teaching assistant to USC director, Bob Mintzer; led courses in improvisation and composition, directed small and large ensembles, and taught private lessons in the Thornton School of Music. Extensive work as a studio musician, appearing on several albums in circulation, including Michael Buble’s 2018 release, “Love.” Primary teachers include Bob Mintzer, Roy McCurdy, Vincent Herring, Rich Perry, Bill Charlap, Dann Zinn, and Dayna Stephens. Maintains an active performance and teaching schedule between Los Angeles and the Bay Area.
