Natalie Cressman


New York City-based singer/songwriter/trombonist Natalie Cressman first studied trombone with her father, Jeff Cressman, in the San Franciso Bay Area. In 2009, she continued her studies at the Manhattan School of Music. Recruited by Trey Anastasio for his touring band the following year, Cressman spent 10 years touring the jam band circuit as a horn player and vocalist. Released her 5th album, Setting Rays of Summer, in April 2019, in collaboration with Brazilian composer, guitarist and vocalist Ian Faquini. Deeply versed in Latin jazz, post-bop, pop, and Brazilian music.
